VisualVault Report Designer – Report Layouts (257-VV-ADMIN)

Description
Laying out a report refers to the process of arranging the visual and textual elements as they will appear on a printed (or viewed) report. Since the data-bound elements do not populate their values when you are editing the report, what you see on the design surface does not always accurately reflect what the final report will look like. Understanding how data-bound controls and bands will behave on the page will allow you to build your report as you intend it to look.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Create a Table Report

  • Format data-bound fields

  • Maintain the band location on a page
